Congress Avenue Mile Selection Procedures - 2008

Ø     Each team will consist of 12 runners and 2 honorary coaches.

Ø     Runners will qualify for the CAM based on 1600m times achieved during legitimate track meets held during the 2008 outdoor track & field season.  (See rules)

Ø     The fastest eight confirmed runners will be selected to the team at 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 14^th.  Times must be submitted and athletes must be confirmed before this deadline in order to be selected in this initial round.

Ø     Times or confirmations received after 4:00pm April 14^th will be considered in final round selections on Tuesday, April 29th.

Ø     Four additional runners will be added to each team on Tuesday, April 29th at 4:00pm.  Times must be submitted and athletes must be confirmed before this deadline in order to be selected in this final round.

Ø     It is the responsibility of the athlete and/or school coach to submit verifiable times to the ranking committee.  DO NOT ASSUME WE WILL FIND ALL RESULTS.
